Why I started networkd

I've always enjoyed connecting people. Whenever I meet someone new, there's a part of me thinking, who should I introduce them to? It's not a strategy, it's just something I genuinely enjoy.

I spent four years at a startup incubator, where I built a community of over 200 mentors and worked closely with sponsors, partners, founders and investors. Starting networkd felt like the natural next step.

Transactional networking, collecting business cards and moving on, was never for me. I didn't want that in my own community, so I built something different: a space where relationships come first and the connections actually mean something.
